    belt alignment

I have used this CNC Taig mill for 10 years. I would start having belt problems and realign and it would work.
Now I am having problems and it looks lined up to me, but the first thing happens is the belt twists and then it goes under a load and breaks.
Is there any info on a way to line this up besides eyeballing it?

    Thanks,

First check the motor support is square to the Headstock.
Next I use my Starrett #13 adjustable 4" sqaure to check alignment.

Place the body on the Headstock extrusion.
Now use the blade to check the belt alignment..
