G3CNC 4 axis plug and play Controller

Hello all, I don't know if any of you have seen this controller unit, but I took the plunge and ordered one. I should have it in a few days. Just finished my new machine and thought I would save some time and purchase this one. Specs seem to be good quality parts , I will let you know when I receive it. G3 CNC.

It uses the RNRmotion.DLL Mach3 plugin, which means it uses a junk Chinese controller.

Re: G3CNC 4 axis plug and play Controller

I received my unit thursday and it looks great. Set up was a breeze, about 15 minutes. I hooked it up to my air cooled spindle and VFD last night and my router is running great. I gave it a test run with some scrap wood and cut one of my guitar bodies and it was flawless, no issues. As advertised it is designed and built for hobbyist, which I am. I am happy with the 32bit dsp all digital dm556 drivers. I received an email with set up instructions and a note that I actually received 566 oz stepper motors instead of 425's. I am pleased with it. I will fire it up tomorrow or monday on some mahogany wood for a new guitar body. I have to say that early on I am impressed and pleased.

As with everything in HobbyCNC, as long as YOU are happy with it, that's all that matters.

Cut through the mahogany body today, every thing went well. It was hot in Tennessee today, the sanyo denki fans seemed to keep everything in my new controller cool, no heating issues.
