Fanuc OT lathe spinde runs in reverse after being shipped to me

I've just taken delivery of a Topper TNL-100A 2 axis lathe with a Fanuc OT.

After getting the Z axis ball screw rebuilt it's up and running pretty well other than the spindle runs in reverse.

I have to use a M04 to get it to run correctly. And the manual buttons are also reversed.

I tried swapping power wires to change the phase rotation but that didn't work.

I looked at the programs the previous owner left in the machine and they are all using M03.

Is there a parameter than can be changed to fix this?

Download the Fanuc OT parameter manual and look at parameter 0013 bits 6&7. Also parameter 0031.1. I'll let you take it from there. Not positive these are it but they make the most sense.

Just to be sure... Looking to the left from the operators position at the face of the spindle, M3 should turn the spindle in a CCW direction. Or spin towards the door.

EDIT: Sorry... that's parameter 0013 bits 6 and 7, not 5 and 6 as originally posted.

Looking at the spindle it turns CW with M03.. Same thing if you use the forward button.

I'll look for a parameter manual.

    Thanks!
