CNC skips/transpose code during working [pctures included]

    Hello to all,

I have a CNC 6040, operating with a Mach3 software. The problem I encounter is that during the run of the code the CNC makes one small freeze/stop and then it transposes the field of work several millimeters to one side. Then it continuous normally but transposed. I have also attached pictures to explain you.

    Any ideas??
    Thank you for your time.

This is called "lost steps". It happens when a move is commanded that a stepper is unable to execute. Identify the axis that is faulting, go into its settings under Motor Tuning, reduce the acceleration by about half, "save axis" then try the program again and see if it got better. Other causes can include mechanical issues, too high a speed commanded, not enough voltage, etc. but reducing acceleration often works.
