I have two motors for Y axes and limit switches on both axes, what you want to know?
I don't know what to set in the settings. That is not in the instruction manual.
I have done werry simple: settings-motors- : 1-x 2-y 3-z 4-y, just pay attention which direction motors turning!
Limit switches I have mecanical connected: 1-x 2-y 3-z and lower in same panel: limit pin "reverse" (regarding electrical wiering switches) 1, 2, 3, 4, because I have it on both y axes, so 8 total.
Just take a look to MK3 manual from pages 20-25 and pick up desired wiering.
ps
be sure to output slave Y axe from MB
I think we get on wrong. Of course I have it in the settings. But for the Gantry Square function you have to set something else with axis U and V.
ok, misunderstud, I think you looking for explanation in this thread, there is a pdf of it.
I have made my a year ago by hand and measuring with a little geometrie calc. My switches are not squere to table, so wont help much...
Ok, it's done. Got it.
You managed to make it work?
Yes I have. It was a little confused because I hit the E-Stop while in Auto Square. If you then looked in the settingings, the axes were still set with U and V.
And you cannot determine which axis is slave and which is master.
Since I had to swap the ports, then it worked as it should.
I am very happy with it. I measured two places that were 30cm apart. and have deviations of approx. 1-3 / 1000. And that with repeatability.
