Question Delta ASDA B2 Servo - Single Phase Instalation

    Hello,
I use a Delta Asda b2 servo drive and motor for my project. (ASD-B2-1021-B)
This drive can use three-phase or single-phase power and I want to use 200-230V 1PH (Single Phase) power.
I checked the Delta manual for wiring. at single phase diagram only use R and S lines. my question is about R and S lines. does it mean L and N line? (Load and Neutral lines are single phase)
I attached the delta asda b2 connection diagram.
    thanks.

NO, you must use L1 and L2 from your panel which you can measure 220-240 VAC. You do not use the neutral in the panel on the servo driver

    Hi,
I use Delta B2 servos and have done for some time.

Yes, R,S,T are three phase inputs. In your case you'll connect L and N to R and S for instance. Note also that there are another two terminal called L1C and L2C.
They have to be connected to L and N also. They are used for the internal power supply to the drive. They are not polarity sensitive, you can hook them up either way without fault.

Do you have a means to program the drive. You can program them by pushing buttons like a microwave, but that gets really old really quick....its just too error prone.
I bought a Delta cable (USB-ASD-CNUS0A08) to program the drives and the free Delta soiftware....so SO much better.

    Hi,
actually I may have put OP wrong. If you are in the US then CNCMAN172 is correct, you get 240VAC between L1 and L2.

Here in New Zealand and a lot of other places around the world you get 240VAC between L and N. That's how I've wired my Delta drives and they work fine.
