    OKUMA osp5000 memory isuues

ok so i know this has been spoken about in the past but i have had no luck finding a problem to my issue.
i have a late 80s okuma MC50H with a osp5000m-g control i have a program thats 84k and i have 67k in my main bubble memory "bb1" so i was able to load it into my "bb0" memory just fine i can edit it there and thats it. when i tryin run my program out of BB0 i get an alarm program buffer overflow alarm 1 ive tried creating a sdf file and running it from there and have had no luck
any help please and thank you.

Split it into smaller programs in BB0: and then use the SDF method to PSELECT the first then the next programs. This will allow it to run as if it is one program but will allow it to fit into memory since only one program is loaded at a time. You still are limited by your program capacity spec, so if you only have 30 k you would need to split it into 3 programs each smaller than 30k in order to get the 84k program(s) to run.

In order to run your 3 sections you will need to create a SDF file like this: RUNALL.SDF (file name)

PSELECT BB0:SEC1.MIN,,,Q1 (calls and runs first section named SEC1.MIN 1 time from BB0: )
PSELECT BB0:SEC2.MIN,,,Q1 (calls and runs second section named SEC2.MIN 1 time)
PSELECT BB0:SEC3.MIN,,,Q1 (calls and runs third section named SEC3.MIN 1 time)
END (stops after all 3 sections have run)

Then use the SP SELECT rather than the PROG SELECT in order to select the schedule program.

The 4 lines of code go into the RUNALL.SDF program. When running the SDF file it will essentially PSELECT 3 times for you and then END. I would suggest storing the SDF file in BB1: for ease of selection.

ok so my program is in bb0 like you said. and i have created a RUNALL.SDF in bb1 and the 1st line in the run all is PSELECT BB0:SEC1.MIN,,,Q1 when i go to sp select and i key in * write it shows me RUNALL.SDF . and then it asks me "what is the file name for program select" and thats where im stuck.

Just hit the WRITE key with RUNALL.SDF highlighted, then when you press CYCLE START you first program will start running.
