    Need a little help

I am new to CNC and have just made about a $5,000 investment so I am looking forward to learning more. I have been doing several test pieces and have run into something I cannot find the answer to.

How do I cut away the waste areas to reduce the overall height near my profile cut? I am sure there is an easy way I am overlooking. I have attached a screenshot of a test piece with an area marked in red. That is the area I want to cut down to a level where my spindle wont hit it on deep cuts. I am using Vectric Aspire.

The attachment isn't showing. If my mental picture of your problem is correct, you may have to offset your cut vector on both sides by an amount equal to the radius of the part that is fouling. You can then use the pocket routine to remove the material within this zone to the depth that will make the cut feasible.
