    Toolpath strategy

    Hi everybody,

    .
I'm triying to machine a complex shapes, for a wallpanel drawn with rhino-grasshopper
I want to machine the closed triangle and keeping straight corner inside... I dont know which strategy i need to use in alphacam.
I want machine with VBIT 90°, but i can't machine with this tool and advanced 5 axis strategy. I try machining along polyline, whith corner inside as curve to follow (in black on the picture), it works but i can't give angle to my tool to machine the dependant face at the same time.

    Thanks in advance.

    Julien.

I have attached the file in a previous post.
Do you have a 5-axis machine?
What is the diameter of your cutter?

    Re: Toolpath strategy

Yes, a 90 degree cutter. But this is an equilateral triangle. And the angle of inclination of the surface is taken known. Therefore, in this case, you can process the polyline with the calculated tool inclination angle.
