New To Lasers, Hoping To Get Some Expert Help

I am very new to lasers, and I am working with a friend who owns a 130w Sinjoe laser that takes 20. We are attempting to use the laser to cut wheat straw, the straws are 5 - 7mm in diameter, and they are cylinders with thin walls mostly made up of air. The problem with cutting these straws is finding a lense that is powerful enough to cut through them quickly but also doesn't char the ends. If anyone knows of a lens that could work well for this I would love to learn more about it.

I had a typo at the end of the first sentence I meant 20mm lenses.

20mm is the lens diameter not focal length, I think. Burning has more to do with air supply. I haven’t found an issue with using as much air as a pump can deliver. The challenge here might be that the air blows the straw around? Cutting something organic @ 7mm should not be difficult.

130W laser with 3`` FL Lens will work it easy.
By the way. Lenses ARE NOT powerful. Lasers are.
