Hello All

I have a Hurco KM3 Max32 (V1.30) which has not missed a beat since I got it in 2005 or so ... until now.
When first fired up and it starts to load the Executive and error message appears "Security device is invalid or has failed". Hurco US is no help because of the age of the machine. I do not know if the failure is the hard drive or electronic.

Tried booting from the floppy but that only gives me a few alpha-numeric characters on the left screen up right corner, so I think my backups are bad or the floppy drive needs help.

Anyone have any ideas on what went wrong and how can I fix it?

I do not have a boat and certainly do not need a 3000 pound boat anchor.
