CNC 3018 Pro Problem With Z-Probe/Heightmap

Hi everyone, this is my first time using this CNC Machine. The purpose of buying this machine is that i wanted to mill my own PCB using the CNC3018 Pro. But i am having this problem for a few days and i have been searching online but with no result. The problem I encounter is that whenever i try to do the z-probe or the heightmap for my PCB, I will always get and alarm status on my candle GRBL software, and in the console it doesn't mention what is the error. So my question is :

    1) Is there anything i need to do before i started doing the heightmap? ( I have already connected the crocodile clip to the A5 pin of the controller board and also when doing the heightmap, i have connected the crocodile clip with the engraving bit and my copper clad)

    2) Do I have to set up the homing position before i started doing the heightmap?

    3) I really think that i have miss some important step for doing the heightmap ( I am new to this CNC world)

    Extra Info:
    1) The result from the $$ command
    $1=0 (step idle delay, msec)
    $2=0 (step port invert mask:00000000)
    $3=1 (dir port invert mask:00000001)
    $4=0 (step enable invert, bool)
    $5=0 (limit pins invert, bool)
    $6=0 (probe pin invert, bool)
    $10=3 (status report mask:00000011)
    $11=0.010 (junction deviation, mm)
    $12=0.002 (arc tolerance, mm)
    $13=0 (report inches, bool)
    $20=0 (soft limits, bool)
    $21=0 (hard limits, bool)
    $22=0 (homing cycle, bool)
    $23=0 (homing dir invert mask:00000000)
    $24=25.000 (homing feed, mm/min)
    $25=500.000 (homing seek, mm/min)
    $26=250 (homing debounce, msec)
    $27=1.000 (homing pull-off, mm)
    $100=400.000 (x, step/mm)
    $101=400.000 (y, step/mm)
    $102=400.000 (z, step/mm)
    $110=1500.000 (x max rate, mm/min)
    $111=1500.000 (y max rate, mm/min)
    $112=1500.000 (z max rate, mm/min)
    $120=10.000 (x accel, mm/sec^2)
    $121=10.000 (y accel, mm/sec^2)
    $122=10.000 (z accel, mm/sec^2)
    $130=320.000 (x max travel, mm)
    $131=195.000 (y max travel, mm)
    $132=45.000 (z max travel, mm)

    2) I dont know what to provide anymore, if u need anything just let me know and i will try to provide it.

Thanks for anyone who are willing to help this newbie solving this issue. Much appriciated.

Re: CNC 3018 Pro Problem With Z-Probe/Heightmap

I am not familiar using candle but if candle doesn't report the error, you could connect a serial terminal program like the build-in one from Arduino and run the probe command by hand. That way you see the error (number). In the documentation folder there is a csv file with an explanation of this error.
