WE ARE UNABLE TO DO COPY AND PASTE FUNCTION AND ALSO EDITING OF PROGRAMMMES.

THE PARAMETER 3210(password-double word)is set. Is the parameter 3211 co related to 3210.Sorry I am not so familiar to these.

How do I remove the password? Is it by programming G10 or what ever stuff?

Please do help me in detail.

3211 is the Keyword for 3210. When a password is set for 3210, the same characters have to be input into 3211 to release the locked state. Without being unlocked you will not be able to remove the password from 3210. You may be able to output the parameters to card and try to modify them offline, and then reload them into the control. I'm not sure if it will work or not, but it's worth a try.

When We Set The Password In Parameter 3210 Automatically Ne9 Of Parameter 3202 Changes To 1.

So We Can Progrmme Like This In Mdi Mode

G10L50;
N3202R0000000;
G11;
Cycle Start

Is It Ok? Pl Help

G10 won't work on 3202 with a password in 3210. It will give an error.

Had this problem on a 21 control and spent over a year with Fanuc on it.
They ended up contacting Japan and were told the answer was on a need-to-know basis. (We had thought WE needed to know). We tried downloading on M-card and translating into ascii but still could not find the password. I think the bottom line is password all your controls yourself, allowing only top level personnel knowledge of it. If you do find the solution, please post it here.

I called Fanuc in Chicago. The solution they gave me was to dump everything and reload. They said there is no way to overwrite it that they are aware of. I asked them about modifying the parameter offline, and he wasn't sure if it would work or not since it doesn't actually ouput the value in 3210 when you do a parameter punch.

Thanks for giving me all valuable tech details.

We do have few TAKISAWA(MAY BE RIGHT SPELLING)with FANUC21i TB Control.

In one machine after parameter 3208 it jumps to 3215,3216 and then to 3292 then to 3453.

3210,3211 or not able to view.

My request is whether it is possible to hide sellected parameters.
