"Enter a Number" error when staring ESPRIT

Has anyone had this problem? I start ESPRIT, it brings up the splash screen, I hit OK, and a small window pops up telling me to enter a number. I press enter a few times until the window doesn't return. ESPRIT doesn't start, and nothing indicates it's running in the Task Manager.
    Thanks for any help.

ESPRIT support recommended reinstallation, and that worked.
