    Dear Experts

    I am an Electronics Engineering Graduate & Maintenance professional with 25 years of experience in CNC
    Request to suggest ways or links to understand basics of CAD software, Solid works & their aplications to develop new product

    Solidworks is a parametric CAD program and there are a lot of other options. I would suggest starting with a free Onshape.com account. It's all online and they have a lot of really good training available for free. The basics will translate to more expensive software if needed in the future.

    hy rishi, what do you wanna do ? just share a few infos, photos, drawings, sketches of representative parts ( like the most complex revolution and prismatic part ), etc, so to have a clue about what you need; if i can handle it, then i will help you / kindly

    Try a search on youtube,there is every chance that somebody has made a video showing at least some of what you are looking for.
