    Spindle Flex

my milltronics partner has about .006" flex in the spindle. we sent the head in about 2 yrs. ago to replace it, same problem, with a rebuilt one but this 1 isn't much better.
just wondering if anyone else has this problem?

What material are you cutting? Depth of cut, step over, etc. Also curious about the tooling you're using... Or are you just talking about chucking an indicator in the spindle and pushing on the head?? Are the four main bolts in the front shot?? (I'm sure this isn't the case from what you said.) I guess I'm not completely sure which direction the .006" is coming from, that could make it a lot easier to diagnose... Is it left to right, all the way around, forward and backward?? Sorry about all the questions but more info would be helpful~
