hello, i am new to this CNC and recently found this machine on a local market it smells horrible and cost me, 400 cad. there currently 5 problems I have with it not connecting to my computer. open it up found these steper motors with a shyidiao company name and the board is all chinese.
accidently damage the limit switch sensor the metal bit to it a expose.
last thing it was missing the cable to connect ot the machine
cooling system is grabage so i toss it

What does it smell like - burnt insulation? The steppers are probably okay, the rest of the control system might not be. What kind of spindle does it have? Pictures might help.
