    My custom drag chain tool

    so, been expanding my Avid CNC and once again having to deal with popping open the drag chain clips while it sits in the support tray.

    NOT FUN!

    So I came up with a tool mod to make it easy.

    What I did was to take a paint can opener, which is a good way to hook the release when you can't come in from the side (but it's a little too wide to go in far enough) and then I just ground it down on the sides to make it narrow enough. Then you can just insert it and pivot it in a downwards movement to release. Works like a charm and saves my cuticles!
