    Milltronics VM25 C7 2003

    Hello
    I have Milltronics VM25 C7 2003 , recently having issue with M19 spindle orientation . I have been told by Milltronic Service , it seems Spindle Motor is failing and need to be replaced. looking for feed back and suggestions?

    Hi Mill, you most likely have a Yaskawa spindle motor / drives/ the motor has an encoder that is used for spindle speed and the orient position. the orient position s send to the spindle drive " orient board" then is translated to stop at the programmed orient position. It might be an encoder, or orient board or a spindle drive problem.
    You will need a meter to run some checks.

    Hi Bob

    the problem is there when the motor is cold , as the motor warm up and running , it get better . so on that base i was told the motor is failing .
