Cool Hello! Got a huge problem whit my cnc mill after reinstalling windows.

Hello! Got to inherit a CNC machine that he built himself after my uncle when he died. I quickly learned how to use it and love my machine.

Everything was fun and games until one day when Windows crashed on my control computer.
No problem, I thought, this fixes a handy woman like me!
Started by buying a new version of the mach3 software that I previously used for my new computer and started it.

But nothing happens when I choose to start milling except that it runs a so-called dry-run. You see the values ??move for the x y z axes and in the small picture next to it you see how the cutter "works".

I was told that my miller is built after something called cw230.
Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?
I do not really know which forum I should post this in, if it is wrong, you are welcome to move this post.

Here is some images of the build:
https://ibb.co/pfTkRWG - this is where i out the connection cable (seriall cable?)
https://ibb.co/xC432m6 - overview of two of the electric motors
https://ibb.co/hfcT0ts - model number on engine
https://ibb.co/ZcxHX8d - i think these are controllers for the motors

If you need more pictures to help me out there is not a problem. Just tell me what you need to see.

I understand that it can be difficult to help me but if you have questions just ask.

Has namely understood that this build is not something he just came up with himself but went for a guide from the internet. If anyone happens to have this guide, I would be very grateful if you could send it to me!

Thank you very much in advance! // Alesha aka MissLaser

If I have posted this in the wrong forum, please move it to the right one! And thanks cnczone did not think there was such a forum! Feels like I'm going to learn a lot new here!

I really don’t know a lot about the hobby machines but it sounds like you are missing some files/ parameters/ programs.
The Mach 3 software is supposed to automatically do a back up when something is changed so you typically have some back ups if you can access them.

It sounds like you have not set Ports and Pins this gives the signals the direction to connect to the drives the drives

Can you do more photos of the control and computer to the Breakout Board Yes they are the drives and motor what is happening is they are not getting the signal from the computer
