This is my first time posting on any forum, I hope I am in the right forum. My first question is, can I use a water pump that I bought on ebay that is marked only as 220V 50Hz, use in the US with 60Hz? I have a Huanyang VFD for a 2.2 KW spindle, should the parameter PD176 (Inverter Freq.Standard) be set to 1, which is for 60Hz? I turned it on already and it spins the spindle OK but the number set from the factory was at 0, which is for 50Hz. Thank you for any answers for my questions, I am going to have many more.

There should be no problem running the pump on 60Hz, it will run a little faster and slightly cooler.
Also in N.A. the standard is 240vac.
Also there is way of turning the pump on via one of the VFD outputs, and setting it for VFD-in-run, then the pump will turn on automatically with the spindle, you can also fit a OFF overide if you wish to turn it off at any time.
