I downloaded Sprutcam 7 onto my newer win 10 computer and it wont recognize the dongle, is there a fix for that?

was long time ago, but I remember having to install a security key driver before running sprutcam but this was older windows version then 10

Thanks for the reply MD, the dongle led doesnt come on when plugged in so I think its not recognizing it possibly. I will call Tormach and see what they have to say about it.

I reloaded the program after deleting the hasp files off the computer and restarting it, the led lights now but the program still wont recognize the key and shuts down.

I sent an email a couple days ago and 2 different phone calls on diffeent days and no response, the lady that answered the phone transferred me to Jake's answering service and still no reply.

Still no response, I guess the old guy is on his own.
I am going to install win 7 on this computer as I know it will work with that.

Usually they respond to phone calls but not this time.

Sprutcam problem resolved!!
Jake emailed a link that fixed my dongle so that Sprutcam 7 will work on windows 10. I am a happy camper now!

I bet he keeps busy!
Sputcam developers are updating and fixing issues every couple weeks.
I was ready to send a list of issues on the lathe section of the program but noticed an update yesterday.
Installed updated and found they fixed some of the issues in lathe section on my list.
Tells me there are more users reporting problems or they are actively testing more and fixing the problems
I had noted a while back that more router specific software would be nice to have. I found I just needed to look and learn more of sprutcam.
They add features and abilities and you don't notice it or know how best to use them.
Either way sprutcam has improved big time in the last few years.
not cheap but nothing is these days!
