    OLD Tree mill purchase

Good day folks. A while back I purchased an old-time Tree knee mill. I think it predates the 2UV. It's all manual, no power feeds except for some sort of belt-driven quill feed. The base seems to be pretty stout, but it doesn't look like the base on the 2UV. At the very bottom foot there is "Keystone" cast-in and on the right of the column it says "Made in Italy" cast-in. I haven't been able to find anything online about this model and I wonder if anybody has heard of one like I'm describing.

    Thanks!
    Glen

    Re: OLD Tree mill purchase

Tree sold the head as a separate assembly and they got glued to just about any type of machine you can imagine. They marketed it as the MH-4 head and it probably got stuck to the Italian iron somewhere along the way.
