I just recently got an Okuma & Howa Act 5 Lathe, while testing out the controls for it, I hit the +X overtravel. I am unable to clear the alarm as it is still sitting in the same position and am unable to move the tool body.

After searching online I found that you can push a button in the electrical cabinet labeled "over travel release", but I am unable to find this button. I need to fix this as soon as possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

The unmarked switch is believed to be the HYD switch from the electrical cabinet as it is missing in there

this one ? not sure, but i used it when one axis overtraveled ....

Hello NorthMachinist, I know this is a very long shot but I would like to know if it`s possible for you to share a set of paràmeters from your machine. It will be greatly appreciated.

Hold the Power on button or control on and can you hear the Hyralics click on ? ---Keep holding it and have the machine in manual on that axis and move it to the minus ---this is an older Fanuc 6T control on this one
