Re: Okuma LT10M run without robot

There are list of parameters related to spindles interference #50-#53. I believe some of them might solve my question.

I don't know what does it mean.

I checked the soft limits first. Everything is fine. I needed to move ZB 8mm closer to main spindle. According to soft limits I could do that, but it wasn't move.
There might be at least two parameters that checked interference.
First it's interference between upper turret and sub spindle.
Second it's interference between spindle A and B.

Re: Okuma LT10M run without robot

hello i don't have experience with his machine, but please maybe someone can do at least something from below :
... if not possible by parameter setting, please, is it possible to disable the interfere check and/or mess up the chuck-jaw ( right/left ) 3d models ?
... another way arround, maybe is to use a z shift, and hope that interference will ignore it ? or use a mode that during which interfere check is disabled ?
... grid shift 2nd chuck / change w origin ( system para ) : real and virtual model should become decalated, no longer overlaped

    kindly

I believe that your procedure is correct, but you may be on the wrong parameter. Try Long Word # 53. Set 40000 then Add-40000.
Experience is what you get just after you needed it.
