N98 G3 X5.8857 Y2.0250 I12.3678 J99.2534
N99 G1 X6.5400 Y2.0250
So this could be a CAM issue or a mistake in the setup on my part. So when generating the toolpath it creates a G3 for the counter clockwise arc, into a straight X linear movement. My question is why does this need to have the G1 and why is it showing up as that G1 X6.5400 Y.2.0250 instead of just X.6.5400? I am using Yaskawa Compass CNC software and it reads the G1 strange and almost act like a dwell and leaves a burn line on the piece. We do hotwire foam cutting to axis machines. If i remove the G1 it passes perfectly through with no pause or dwell. I hope this is clear as mud. I am hoping that i explained this enough. Any help would be great. Thanks!
