Fanuc 18-T Ecoca SJ-20 Parameter 6700 not working. Stops on block/m-code

So my small lathe are used for a lot of automated production but the part counter only counts on M30/M02.
So i won't count until it receives a M30/M02, which means the program will end.

I've tried to change the 6710 to a different M-code. But it will accept the code +1 to the counter but won't continue to the next block.
    So it freezes on it.

    Thanks in advance

What ever M Code you decide to use when setting parameter 6710 HAS to be pre written in the ladder to FIN out. Otherwise you will have to add that to the FIN circuit in the ladder. (G4.3 in the PMC Ladder)

Do you know if it's possible to edit the ladder on this machine or do I need to dump the pmc ladder to be able to edit it

It all depends on the PMC type that you have. Also the FULL controller type. Fanuc made "5" 18T controls. 18TA, 18TB, 18TC, 18TiA, AND 18TiB which one do you have? If you can post your ladder with the M code you want to use I can see if I can make the change for you.
