I have an old 3 phase 90w induction motor. Can't remember what it came off. But it's got a twisted pinion shaft that I expect goes into a reduction gearbox.

I want to use it for a drive on a machine but don't have a gearbox just a pinion shaft.

Question. Is there a pulley or sprocket that is available for a shaft like this? I've had a pretty good look on the net and can't seem to find anything. My only other alternative is to make something custom. It doesn't need to be perfect or hold a lot of torque. Just drive.

Anyone have a suggestion or know about these?

Is it like a normal pinion shaft with a keyway? If so, what diameter?.
If the above is the case then you could look at taperlock bush & pulley combos if they have a bush in your size.

I recently got a 19mm bore taper bush and 112mm taperlock pulley to fit my servo.

No mate. It's one of these. I could gash something untidy together but it would be good to get something proper. I only know a reduction gearbox that might marry but I don't want to buy one and don't need it reduced in speed.Attachment 462126

That is the pinion gear built into the motor shaft. There is no stock component that will convert directly to a pulley type drive. A clamp type drive coupling should grab onto the shaft, you are just going to have to build something.

Hi Jim is that a fact. Ok. I will make something for it. I did see a split sprocket actually that looked like a solution. Off the motor its high rpm low torque required.
