AXIS stepper/servo motor requirements, want shared components from router to mini mil

I am building both mini mills and router cnc machines and I want drive components interchangable between them. Is 3 nm a good driver for the axis' on a wood router? such as these:

Are you planning on swapping motors between machines?
It will not be easy to mount and unmount motors and the associated wiring.

I have shared drivers / control electronics / computer for a mill, lathe and router.

Each machines has its own motors (all the same model steppers). I use an industrial 48pin connector to swap the connection for the drivers etc.

I don't plan to swap the motors between machines, I'm simply taking from a spares and maintenance perspective.

Is a nema 23 3nm sufficient for a router table? I know it's enough for my mini mill

Depends on how big the machine is, and how fast you want it go.
