Question Question regarding a c axis Hardinge GS-200

I recently bought a 2006 Hardinge GS-200 with a fanuc oi-tc control, and I'm tryin to get the C axis up and running. I see M45, M19, and M91 on different sites all saying that it engages c axis mode, but none of them work. The control just pauses at M45 and M91, the only one that has done anything is M19, but it just looks like a spindle orient command.
    If I command a:
    G28 C0
    or a
    G00 H0,
the control gives me a "C AXIS COMMANDED IN SPINDLE MODE". Could the code possibly have been changed in parameters? If so, how would I find and change it?

So you have C axis so it also has live spindle on the turret ?
Goo G90 C100.0 is just a position for the main spindle but when this changes if there is one on the Turret also and sometimes requires the S to be defined as in S1 or S2 and also so C axis uses that M44/45 becuase at the back it has a hydraulic brake to lock the spindle in position after the c command for rigidity
