    Ball screw nut circuits

Need help with identifying and knowing the difference of ball screw nut, I being a Noob took the nut out of the ball screw, all bearing ball fell out, I managed to get them back in and it seems to work fine. I'm not too happy with it and ordered a new sfu1610-3 nut, I didn't realize that there are also sfu1610-2 nuts for sale.

So my question is does it matter, will the 3 circuit nut work on a 2 circuit ball screw? Now I don't know if what I have is 2 or 3 circuit, how can I identify them?

I want to know before trying it on, maybe return the sfu1610-3 and get a sfu1610-2.

Any help would be great, thanks

    Re: Ball screw nut circuits

There shouldn't be any difference in the screw, provided both nuts are made to fit the same screw. 1610 is 1610, regardless of how many ball circuits there are.

Thanks for the quick reply, I tried searching everywhere and no one really talks about identifying ball screw nuts and circuits. I just didn't want to try using it and not being able to return a used item that didn't fit ????
