How to replace servo drive in HITACHI HG400III

    Hi!
    I have HITACHI HG400III, 1999, Seicos 16.
I replaced XZ driver A06B-6096-H208 to new.
It is 2 axis driver (L-M)
Try to switch on the machine. Till "STANDBY" button all is OK.
But after press this button all drivers show "5" in LED indicator.
I checked axis table in working HITACHI HG400 and compare it with my machine under repair.
    The difference is in photo.
Looks like SEICOS did not initialize driver and X and Z axis try to use A1-L driver together. In working HITACHI X use A1-L but Z use A1-M driver.
    Please help

    Hi
Problem always arises with 6096 h208 drive unit, the software version in the drive changed, so you have to have very similar serial no on the drive for it to operate correctly

Hi! I dismount drive and found many problems:
    1. Drive A06B-6096-H208 is 2 axis drive. Control board has to be A20B2100-0253. It is 2 axis control board. In my case it is A20B-2100-0540. It is 1 axis board. So my CNC can not find second axis. It is the promlem. Moreover: The power board has to be A16B-2202-0774. This is 2 axis power board 80A/80A current. In my case it is A16B-2202-0743 power board 80A/40A current. I can not use this board in my machine. In fact: China company sent me the drive named A06B-6096-H122 and not A06B-6096-H208. The drive is not new. It shown in photo - damaged FAN and damaged heat radiator. The company name in Chian - Dongguan Tommy Cnc Machine Tool Fittings Co., Ltd.
    NEVER BELIVE THIS COMPANY.

    Problem was solved.
I need to replace chip in board (see attachment). This chip (X24C04). This is PLC with interconnection protocol.
I extracted chip from new board and replace new chip to old chip.
    After that all became OK.
