Hello

I have a Denford Micromill 2000 which has been adapted with a breakout board so that it can use open source software.
It was working fine but unfortunately I seem to have blown up the driver board as far as the X axis goes - the X stepper makes a noise but doesn't move. I've swapped the cables around so that the X and Y motors are driven by the "other" driver, which causes the same problem to occur on the Y axis. My conclusion is that part of the board is blown. (One of the wires to the X motor came adrift and I soldered it back without disconnecting the power - mistake! - and there was a flash)
Have I any alternative to replacing the entire board? I can't find a detailed enough schematic that would give a clue as to which part needs replacing. But can I use any third party hardware for a single axis?
