I own a 3KW 3 Phase chinese Spindle, a EYS8043-18/3.0 spindle
It has 2 Poles, 3 Phase, 300Hz, 8.6A, 3 Kw, 18000 R/min.

the VFD is a 220V 3KW Vfd supplied with the spindle. I accidently factory reset and cannot get the settings right anymore, the manual has nothing but the VFD factory settings not related at all to the spindle.

This is quit straight forward, don't keep trying it or you will smoke the spindle

I'm guessing this is an air cooled spindle, doing a factory reset did not change anything as all VFD Drives are at factory Default when you get them

So need to know the make / manufacture and model of the VFD Drive

What are the Parameters first 2 Letters

Yes it is a 3KW Air cooled spindle.

What are the Parameters first 2 Letters Is it ( PD ) this will tell me if you have a genuine HY VFD Drive there are may HY copies and have different Parameter settings

This should get you going this is a full set there may need to be some adjustments

PD000=0 for Parameter unlock ( 1 ) for Parameter Lock

PD001=0 (1 For Remote Control)

PD002=0 ( 1 For 0-10v Terminal Control or Remote Trim Pot Control )
( J1 Also Needs to be set for Terminal Control )

PD011=120 ( This may need to have a higher Minimum Speed for your Spindle watch Temperature )

PD13= 08 is for Factory reset, Only use this to set VFD to Factory Default Settings

PD015=10 (Deceleration Adjust to suit)

PD141=220 ( Motor Rated Voltage )

PD142=9 ( Motor Max Amps)

PD143=2 ( Motor Number of Poles)

PD144=3000 (Max Motor RPM 18,000)

PD070=0 ( This may need to be set to 1 if Control Voltage is 0-5v )

PD072=300

PD073=120 ( This may need to have a higher Minimum Speed for your Spindle watch Temperature )

PD120=120 (Stall Prevention )

PD174=13 ( Your VFD Drives Max Amp Output Rating )


If Minimum Speed is changed then other Parameters will need to be changed also, Your Minimum Speed is related to the temperature of your Spindle to low and it will over heat
