    Chip issue

I am looking for a solution to prevent chips from entering my coolant tank. I have a Haas 2004 mini mill with an opening of 9" w x 5" h. Does anyone know of a manufacturer of a chip basket that will fit? Any ideas appreciated.
    Thanks

The tip a buddy gave me ... I put these between the machine drain the the tup... and it's a Haas VF/4 w/ the chip pan, but it still does not work that well compared to this. After a few sessions just brush off the chips and reuse.

If you don't have much luck, don't dismiss this straigh away!
I made a chip box for my home built machine (2 stage). Works brilliant. You could prob adapt something to use the same material for a 'proper' machine.
I used stainless steel mesh sheets 400 micron for large chips and 200 for the fines. Way oil can clog it too quickly though so maybe 400/300 would be better.
Empty, rinse, repeat. Easy to wipe and no worries of it rotting either.

Chunk of perforated metal and a couple of magnets.
