    Compatible encoders?

Hello! I have a bad encoder for a Fanuc 10T AC servo drive. The glass encoder disk is actually scratched and the print is worn off from rubbing on the photocells. It is a Type A860-0345-T001. I'm having a lot of trouble finding one anywhere. My question is; are there any compatible encoders that have the same disk/internals that I could look for to use for an organ donor? Thanks!

The problem with a sub for a Fanuc AC motor encoder is the encoder also has the commutation track on it which are a proprietary method that Fanuc uses.
Where are you located, I may have one, would have to check.

Hey Al, did you happen to get a chance to see if you had the encoder?

No sorry I meant to get back, I don't have that model.

Can you take picture of motor and encoder?

The sticker on the motor is worn away, so I can't get a picture of the part number. But I know it's a 10T/2000 with brake. Here is a picture of the encoder though. And the disk where it is rubbed off.

What kind of machine. Your encoder is high speed and high resolution encoder. This encoder is rare.

You must buy same encoder because your motor have hollow shaft. Screw move through motor.
