    Daewoo Puma 12L parameter list

    Hi,

I am looking for parameters for Daweoo Puma 12L with fanuc 0TC.
Unfortunately, the battery is dead and the machine has been turned off. The parameters are gone and we do not have a copy of it.

    Our machine model: Puma-12L S.no.: PL120619 Fanuc Model: 0TC S.No.: E95100348

    Please help me!

Attached is a PDF of the generic parameters for a P12L with a 0TC control (your specific machine might have some settings different, and any options added after the sale might need different values)

First of all I want to say thank you very much for your help!

We still having problem with the machine. We have only one PMC parameter list and it's not ok for the our PUMA.
We got some files from the Doosan (PUMA12L_1.zip and PUMA12L_2.zip) but we are not able to use these. These are in a special file format what is use by the DOOSAN/DAEWOO.
I hope these files include the PMC parameters. Someone could get the PMC parameters out of these files?
The other two zip files (Puma.zip and Puma12L_no_axes moving.zip) include the start NC and PMC parametes, but PMC prm. is not OK for us.

I opened the Puma12L_1 and the _2 zip files and they are the backup files used by a machine.

Are they the ones from that exact machine? If so, they can be sent to the machine (instructions are in the fanuc manual) and it should get you up and running.

They work for me, just open them in a text editor like wordpad. I suspect there's a way to import them directly as well.

"Puma12L_1 and the _2 zip files and they are the backup files used by a machine." - I know that these are back up files we got it from the DOOSAN, but it is not the from that exact machine. As I see the Puma12L_2.zip include only the NC parameters (VPL12OPT.PAR, VPL12SET.PAR, VPL12SYS.PAR N0/37 to N997/0). May be the PUMA12L_1 include the PMC parameters but I need it in txt file, like this:
    N10300 P 00000000
    N10301 P 10001001
    N10302 P 00000011
    N10303 P 00000000
    N10304 P 00000000
    N10305 P 00000000
    N10306 P 00000000
    N10307 P 00000000
    N10308 P 00000000
    N10309 P 00000000
    N10310 P 00000100
    N10311 P 00000000

The Puma12L_1.zip file include files like this: PL12LR0.#C1; .#EX, etc. We can not understand/use these in that format. I need someone who can get out the pmc parameters out of these files.

The cncprm and pmcprm files we got from the fanuc, but these PMC parameters are not good for our machine. We know this because the machine say 520 -over travel +Z (A hardware overtravel occurred in the positive direction of the Z–axis) but in real its not in this position.

If I open the PL12LR0.#LA file I see thing like this:
    ‘ ƒ ‚0 ‘4 ‘4 ‘; „y „ĺ „ć ‘ ƒ” ‘; ‘
     ‘ „y ‚0 ‘ ‘; ƒ• ‚0 ‚0 ‘ ‘Ĺ ‘Ĺ ‘Ź ‘; „y ƒ” ‚0 ‚0 ‘ ƒ” ‚V ‘4 ‚0 ‘4 ‘» ‘» ‘0 ‘»

The "Puma12L_1.zip file include files like this: PL12LR0.#C1; .#EX, etc." are the copy of the ladder, not the parameters. You can't read them because the are "compiled" for the machine.

If you are looking for parameters, check files that end in PRM

If these are from a different machine, other problems might arise.

Was there something wrong with the generic PDF parameter list that was sent in my first reply? ...does it not apply?

I looked inside the Puma.zip file that you included, and it has two files. CNCPRM and PMCPRM. These are the CNC Parameters for a Puma 12L and the PMC Parameters for the Puma 12L.

If they are the ones from your machine, then they should solve your issue by sending them to the control. (or print out the text from NOTEPAD and hand enter the values)
If they are not from your machine, then they are about as close as can be found for a machine of that age. Enter them and then we can address any conflicts that occur as they pop up.

When the machine does get up-and-running, make a copy of the exact/correct parameters/system/ladder to have for when this happens again.

Also replace the batteries in every machine - EVERY YEAR - whether they need it or not! (When the clocks get changed in the Spring, that is a good time to change the batteries.)

These two files what we got from the fanuc. I put it in the wrong directory during the packing. They put it in to the machine but we still have some error:
    520 and 521 overtravel.. - prm problem

Yes I know that we have to save it, and we will do it.

Puma12L_no_axes moving.zip‎ include the prms that in the machine now.

I compared the two files, there is only one bit difference between the two files (N10314 is 00000001 in the original and 00000000 in the "no axis moving" version)
Load the one with the least amount of alarms, and we can resolve the individual remaining alarms to get correct operation.

...or contact a local service technician to come in and do it. (whichever is time/cost effective for you.)

    The status:
The machine power up with fault 12 (servo not ready), no other alarm on the CRT. After pressing the machine ready button the fault is gone. Checking the machine at the back the spindel servo still not ready (fault 16 appear a few moment later on the control panel => servo not ready), on the spindel amplifier shows "- -". If we try to move the axies we only see the changes in the crt, no real axis movment because the servo is not ready.
    any idea?

What alarm are you getting when the crt changes position but the axis does not move?

    Back again.
The problem is that, no alarm on the crt and also no alarm on servos...
I bought parameter from the net, and with this the axis is moving. I only have problem with the spindle. It won't start. Now the spindle amplifer show -- (not ready). If I want to start the spindel I got the alarm 18 next to the crt.
How can I figure out that my PUMA use or not the 6000's parameters? The spindel motor is an alpha18 with pulse generator, position coder and thermostat.
The N917 0000010 open the parameters between 6000 and 6979 parameters. Do I need this?
The parameters you gave me won't have this option what I bouth this have..
First I will look for the alarm 18.

    Sir,
I'm not certain what you are needing.
I am assuming that you NEED the parameters, that you are in over-travel, and that the machine has lost it's reference point...

    Is that correct?
