Is there an option to add X/Y/Z limit stops on a Haas controller?

From time to time when I'm doing a quick manual cut on my Haas super mill I want to be able to set up a soft stop via the control panel... so for example I want to be able to manually move 5.25" in the X direction and when it hits that point it stops.

I know this can be achieved by writing up some quick code, but I'm just curious if this is possible from the control panel on the machine by using the user coordinate system?

If i use the Jog lock button and select my direction it will continue till it hits the mechanical limit switches.... so my question is there a way to set a Soft limit to stop at a specific distance or coordinate?

    Thanks,

    Kent

Yes, that is what I am after.... but unfortunately I don't have the next generation controller... which is a bummer...
