    MITSUBISHI 700/70 Series ETHERNET PROCEDURES

    Hi to all,

We bought a used Mitsubishi 700 series.

However we are having a serious problem when it comes to transferring the files from the computer(B) to the machine(A) using the ETHERNET.

Can someone gives me the procedures STEP by STEP to how to do that.

    Thanks in advance.

Parameter #11005 PC IP address must be unique for every
M700 series control on a customerfs network. If this is the
first or only M700 series control, this parameter can remain unchanged. If there are other M700 series controls on
the network, then the last set and only last set of digits of #11005 must be changed to an unused number.
This parameter does not affect the operation of the M70 control in anyway. On the M70 control any setting will
    work.
    Cycle power on the control.
If control does not come up, see Reinitializing procedure later in this manual (M700 Page 8)

Persistent route set up M700 series only
A route through the NC to the PC side of the control has to be set up on the customerfs host FTP server computer and every
computer that will be sharing the hard drive. It is called persistent because it will be valid even after cycling power on the
customerfs computer. This has to be set in the command prompt. This is not necessary on a M70 control
To run the Command prompt, go to the Start menu on the customerfs computer and select Run
Type CMD in the command line and select OK
At the > prompt type in the instructions. Note the spaces in
    between each set of commands.
The address denoted by 192.168.100.nnn is from parameter
    #11005.
The address sss.sss.sss.sss is the value that was set from line 3
    on work sheet (Parameter #1926).
This is what it should look like:
    > route add .p 192.168.100.nnn sss.sss.sss.sss
It will give an error if it is not set correctly.
Type gExith at command prompt to close window.
To check and see if the data was input correctly type

    Troubleshooting
These are some procedures to test and try if the directions in this manual are not working.
The M700 control is set up to auto configure. Most newer PCs, laptops, switches and routers can do this also. This means that it
does not matter if you use a cross-over cable or a patch cable, as long as you get the link lights on the NC and the PC, it is
connected. The link lights are usually located right next to the Ethernet connection ports and stay on a steady green when
connected. If you donft get a connection then the device you have wired to the control is not set up for Auto Configure and you
    must use the appropriate cable.
    On the Host PC:
Go to the CMD screen and try to ping the addresses found in parameters #1926 and #11005. To run the Command prompt, go to
the Start menu on the customerfs computer and select Run
Type CMD in the command line and select OK
A reply for the address in #1926 indicates that the PC
and NC are physically connected. If you do not get a
reply check the addresses and cable connections.
A reply from the address in #11005 indicates that HD
sharing and FTP communication should work. If you
do not get a reply check some of the address from the
    control side as listed below.
    On the Control:
    1. Press CTRL hard key
    2. Press ALTER hard key
    3. Press DELETE hard key
    4. Use arrow keys and move to Task Manager, then push INPUT hard key
    5. Push ALTER hard key, then push F hard key
    6. New Task(Run) will be highlighted, push INPUT hard key
    7. Type CMD in the box and then OK
    8. When the CMD window opens try gpingingh the addresses found in parameters
#1926, #1934, #11005 and #9711. You should get a greplyh for each address.
If addresses from #11005 or #9711 do not reply you may need to add 2 persistent
routes to the NC control. This would be done in the CMD window on the NC and
the syntax is the same as described in the procedure to add persistent routes to the
    PC.
At the > prompt type in the instructions. Note the spaces in between each set of commands.
Persistent route 1: The first address is from parameter #9711 and the second address is from parameter #1934.
Persistent route 2: The first address is from parameter #1926 and the second address is from parameter #1934.
This is what it should look like:
    (#9711) (#1934)
    > route add .p nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn sss.sss.sss.sss
    (#1926) (#1934)
    > route add .p xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx sss.sss.sss.sss
    13
To check and see if the data was input correctly type
    >route print
This will show the persistent routes.
You should be able to ping all of the addresses from the NC
    command prompt window.
    HD sharing issues
You may find that you can drag files from the NC HD but not drop files on the NC HD. In this case the Windows XP on the NC
will need to have the rights changed that reading and writing are possible to the D drive of the control.
To set this up do the following:
    1. Press CTRL hard key
    2. Press ALTER hard key
    3. Press DELETE hard key
    4. Use arrow keys and move to Task Manager, then push INPUT hard key
    5. Push ALTER hard key, then push F hard key
    6. New Task(Run) will be highlighted, push INPUT hard key
    7. Use up/down arrow keys and scroll until C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe is in the box
    8. Use tab key to highlight OK and push INPUT hard key
    9. Press the down arrow key until My Computer is highlighted
    10. Press the right arrow key
    11. Press the down arrow key until Local Disk (D is highlighted
    12. Press the right arrow key
    13. Press the down arrow key until ncfile is highlighted
    14. Press the ALTER hard key, then the F hard key
    15. Press the R hard key
    16. This should open the properties window. Press the tab key until General tab is highlighted.
    17. Use the right arrow key and highlight the Sharing tab
    18. Press the ALTER hard key, then the P hard key. The Share Permissions window should be open.
    19. Use the tab key until Full Control Allow is highlighted, and then press the SP hard key. This
should put a check mark on the Full Control box. Repeat this until all Allow boxes are checked.
    20. When finished press the Input hard key 2 times to close both windows.
    21. Press the ALTER hard key, then the F hard key, then the C hard key to close the explorer.
    22. Press the ALTER hard key, then the F hard key, then the X hard key to close the Task Manager.

    Hi!

I have M70 with old working ethernet parameters configured.
    (See attached screen image please)

    And i'm using Win7/x64.

WarFTP is installed but i have problems with it's configuring..

Now i have installed original Mitsubishi NC Explorer instead of WarFTP,
but have problems with it too.

Can You tell me how to determine the IP addresses of the M70 and PC and where to put them in the settings on M70?
Its looks like the my PC address is 192.168.0.104

    ===============
    On PC:
    C>ping 192.168.100.1 - runs Ok. (Its #1934)
