    dip switch settings

I am currently converting a G0704 to cnc and I have a KL-5056E Digital Stepper Driver-32 bit DSP Based for the X and Y axis with NEMA23 570oz/in 5A 3/8” Dual Shaft Stepper Motor (KL23H2100-50-4BC). Then a NEMA34 Stepper Motor – 906 oz in 6.1A Dual Shaft (KL34H295-43-8B) with KL-8070D Digital Bipolar Stepper Motor Driver-32 bit DSP Based for the Z axis. I am trying to figure out what I need to set the dip switches to on the drivers. I wired the Z axis motor to be bipolar parallel, and i believe the x and y motors come wired for the same. The x and y motors arrived with the motor cable already installed, the z did not. Everything was purchased from automation technologies. Also I got the aluminum driver/ power supply box from them as well, Do I need to put like a rubber spacer between everything and the box as i mount them?

    Re: dip switch settings

    Hi,

For the KL-5056E dip switch, you can set to 1-8: OFFFFFOO. For the KL-8070D, you can set to 1-8: OFOFFFOO. (O = ON, F = OFF)

And thick rubber spacer will be necessary to installed between your breakout board and the box.
