    Weeke import 3D dxf

    Using Wood WOP 4.5.

We have had good success using the dxf import function in WoodWOP. I can bring in contour lines or hole into WoodWOP using the pdf file. I have even managed to import tool paths from other CAM software as long as I can output the path in a dxf. It took some tweeking in the BPP.ini file to get it to work correctly.

What I can't do is import 3D lines. The woodWOP file is not accepting the Z coordinates from the dxf file. Had anybody else had any luck importing 3D dxf files?

Here is the BPP.ini file I'm using in WoodWOP to help import DXF files. The DXF needs to have the correct layer names for the import to work correctly.

I just can't get it to import 3D lines. Let me know what I'm doing wrong.

Is IGES (or igs) an option? That's a more common format for 3D splines than DXF, which is usually just for flat lines, curves, and arcs.
