    Winmax probing routines

There are a few posts that ask similar questions, but I can't see any answers that help me.

I am trying to create probing commands to insert at the start of my externally created ISO NC program (not Winmax conversational) for automatically setting G54 part datums.
The Winmax manual refers to sub-program calls 1000 to 6000, and I guess that within those sub-programs is the code that is needed to get the probe to do what I want. However, I can't find any other information about these sub-programs.

Has anyone else managed to do what I am trying to do?

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

Automatic probing is a rabbit hole (rat hole?) of infinite depth.

Probing is fine, provided there is a human directing it. I have used it myself.
It is the automated part that is the dodgy bit. Imho.
Have a look at some of the probe routines to see why: they are huge.
