There is no code, the post proc is used to convert data that makes the screen toolpaths into machine NC code specific to that machine the post is designed for,
ie. a Fanuc post processor cannot make code to run on an Okuma without having to be edited.
or... a Mastercam Okuma post cannot be used on a different CADCAM system.
( some CADCAM systems generate an intermediate file that is used to create the NC code, it is not usable to the machine or easily understood )
hy super when posting this, i was not decided about how to organize :
... create kind of a general code, then convert it to okuma or something else
... or
... create okuma code, then convert it to whatever else ( i guess that this conversion should be easy for most cases )
meanwhile, i decided that i could do both, and i started to output the okuma code in different variants, in respect to code layout (from simple to crowded), ctr/optimizations, or structuring ( like using linear or soubroutines )

Okuma's IGF is wordwide recognised as very good CAM solution. In your shoes, I would take most ideas from IGF.
