    Stepper motors running opposite direction

    Good Day.

    I bought A11 Plus controller and connected it, Now the motors are running the opposite direction. All axis. i was replacing the 0401 controller. Whats the solution.

    You can reverse stepper direction by reversing two wires.

    What software program do you use to run the cnc?.
    There may be an option in the soft limits or axis pages to select 'axis reversed'.
    Sometimes it's that simple.

    In your Control software look for Active Low or Logic High you can change direction with this either Check or Uncheck and save

    You may find it easer to change the motor wiring

    Forgot about that way of doing it. Until I knew how opto's worked I was nervy about it as a total novice.

    The way I understand it is: All it esentially does is swaps around the way the voltage is applied to direction.
    For instance:
    So if voltage isn't flowing in say active low it spins CCW, if voltage is flowing it spins CW.
    Now switch to high:
    Voltage not flowing is now CW, voltage flowing is now CCW.

    Simple as that!!.
