Hey guys,
I have an older AXYZ 4010 running A2MC. Lately the machine has been randomly freezing and restarting, which could happen during a cut or while it's sitting idle.
A few times it's just taken off in the X or Y direction until it hits the limits and I have to hit the E-stop.
Any ideas? is the control board going bad?

Does it have encoders on the servos, sounds like either a bad encoder or loos encoder connections

The older AXYZ machines had steppers.My initial concern would be the quality of the electricity supply arriving at the machine.Is there any way to check how accurately it resembles the frequency,voltage and current it is assumed to conform to?It may be that something else on the local circuit is causing spikes or troughs in the supply.
