dual on/off valve only last 2000-5000 cycles

    Hi,

am working on a old 2006 omax 55100 and my dual on/off valve near the maxjet5 only last 2000-5000 cycles before I see a leak of water in my nozzle and abrasive tube.

Am at my 4 rebuilds kit (omax part*) and idk if because something keep hit my stem when my waterjet cup ? but I always do all my rebuilds in a clean space.

Any idea what can make my stem and my seat get damage ?

*I link some picture of my stem damage*

    As a new member....
You can't post attachments until you have reached a certain number of general posts.
You need to put the images on a host site, somewhere like imgur.
Put the link address to said host site image in a post, and then we can view it.

The picture will not make a big difference in my opinion. As per my practice, the nozzles always are dripping and no one cares about that.

Are the parts genuine Omax or copied acuustream parts?

Check the operation of the air actuator, this should move in and out smoothly when pressed in with you hand, if it is the older type actuator and it is sticking then it can be disassembled and lubricated.
Also check your main incoming air pressure this should be set 80-90 PSI

    Thanks

check electrical grounding of metal parts. Could be caused by galvanic electrical current.
What about filters? If abrasive goes through this valve?
Then it is not cycles, it is open state when the parts are wearing out.
