I am searching for an easy cad/cam software that can generate ISO G code with 4 axes it could be similar to easycad software or if there a possibility to generate the G-code with the easycad

Hi,
given that Fusion 360 is free to hobbyists/startups it has proven to be popular.

hy, please share a few images, so to have a clue about desired part complexity / kindly

Take a look at DeskProto. it has several strategies for producing 4-axis G-code from mesh models. It's just a CAM program, though - you can probably make the CAD model in EasyCAD and export it to DeskProto as an STL. https://computersculpture.com/deskproto/

thanks for replying. All I have is an Italian machine for glass with the grinding tool (the 4th axis is in degree) i used to make drawing on mirror glass with a lot of small curves where in some places i need a compensation for the tool.
if the fusion 360 provide this it will be a great pleasure
all i have a dxf drawing (the 4 axis is in degree) i need to make a compensation for the tool I never heard about deskproto
Hi,
I think you can try the following one
https://www.vectric.com/products
the compensation of the beginning of the line or arc & the end of it. the grinding tool is like a saw disc just for marking on the glass i have drawing with small arc
this is an example of what i work on it the whole issue is that i will need compensation for the start & the end of the geometry for not having a cross line
hy tony if you can provide a working code, i can help you with a custom app / kindly
i am using sheetcam but i i have to fix some issue on it i can send u a working code & the post but the issue is a little bit difficult about the threshold of the cutter
For example if i need to make a square i need on the corner the cutter is to be lifted & compensate the offset of the tool (tool is in the center of geometry) this it can be solved by the value of the threshold but when u have several arcs & in some places should continuous & in other places should be compensate
this a picture trying to explain my problem the blue marks are the one that it should be connected & the green are the one that should be sompensated
okey if you wish to discuss specific details, please enable your private messaging, so to avoid flooding the forum
there should be no problem handling conection between geometries, just like you wish
