    Accuracy 300 micron

    Hi!
I am a hobbyist and i am getting a 1500X2000mm and Z axis down to 100mm CNC router table.
    The spindle is 710W 32K RPM, drivers @ 4.5amp.
This machine has Accuracy 300 micron, now my question is how good is this accuracy?
is it worth buying? how many Watt and how many RPM spindle would i need to cutting, carving, and milling trough 8-15mm thick aluminium sheets?

At 300 micron this is good enough for wood .

    Re: Accuracy 300 micron

    300 micron is 0.300mm

CNC machine for cutting steel, alum, etc for making parts to fit together( depends on purpose ie aerospace parts) would need repeatability of 0.002mm

Your 300micron machine "might" be OK for making pieces of jigsaw .... just
If you are using it to play/learn, make artistic jobs & so on... & the price is good. Go for it.

Alum may need multiple passes, so any passes that are not on top of the last may break tools, leave crappy mismatched finishes.

Try to look at previous parts, or have it prove itself before purchase.

Accuracy is really poor even for woodwork. The question is how this accuracy is evaluated. Maybe repeatability is 10× better?
Spindle power capacity is quite high, so the machine is good for rough work - blanks preparation.
