    Help Making Delrin Leather Stamps

I’ve been trying to get a good stamp made for leather by engraving Delrin on my k40. The material seems to deform and melt. I’ve tried lots of different speeds, and powers, even air assist, but it still isn’t a crisp engraving. Anyone here have success, I need help.

You must be doing something really wrong to melt Delrin. It is one of the most forgiving materials to mill. What kind of cutter are you using? What range of speeds and feeds?
