    Carvewright / compucarve cnc retrofit?

    Hi

has anyone ever tried to retrofit a carvewright / compucarve cnc?...i was thinking msybe mach3 or GRBL controller. Etc....

If not i was wondering if someone eould be willing to give me some direction

it does use small servo motors not stepper motors

and it has an ac spindle motor.

could be a nice project....my concern are the servo axis motors..not sure how i would deal with those.
